Le Mans is of course world famous for its "24 hours automobile race", but, is also labeled "City of art and history", the prefecture of the Sarthe also has a unique architectural heritage, which is worth visiting. The city is a candidate for the World Heritage of Humanity (UNESCO) classification. The menhir, the Roman wall, the great Saint-Julien cathedral, the Plantagenet Royal Palace of the 10th, the Museum of Fine Arts, the hundred half-timbered houses, the Renaissance houses, the paved streets, lined with wheel-carriages guards, enable you to travel through history ...
